Alix Villaret (born 28 December 1997) is a French actress known for her work in both independent and studio films.

Early life and education

Villaret was born in Paris, France, to Philippe Villaret , a restaurant owner,[1] and Christine Deprez Villaret, a gemologist. She is the eldest of two siblings and grew up in a supportive, close-knit family with significant influence from her Japanese grandmother. During her teenage years, Villaret worked at her family's pizzeria, Positano, among other jobs, before moving to the United States.

Villaret's early theatrical training began at her local school and continued at École Périmony in Paris. In 2016, she made her film debut in the French movie La Danseuse in translation to EnglishThe Dancer [2] and appeared in the French television series Scènes de Ménages in 2017.

Career

Villaret moved to Auckland, New Zealand, in 2018 and later relocated to Los Angeles in 2019 to further her acting career. In Los Angeles, she studied at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting. [3] Her American film career began with a lead role in the independent film Dollface in 2020.[4] She then appeared in Blind Ghost [5] and Vampfather,[6] where she starred alongside Danny Trejo and Tom Sizemore.

In 2021, Villaret secured a supporting role in the Paramount Pictures film V for Vengeance,, followed by another supporting role in Wifelike.[7]

In 2023, she starred in her first major studio film, Utopia. Her 2024 projects include a lead role in The Last Gunfight, featuring Jon Voight, Luka Peros, and Rade Šerbedžija.
