Early life and education

Dr. Ali Mirsadeghi was born in Tehran, Iran. He pursued his higher education at Azad University, Karaj Branch, where he earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and an Executive MBA (EMBA). He later achieved a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the same institution.

Career

Dr. Mirsadeghi is the publisher and CEO at Barsa Publishing Company, a publisher in Iran known for its contributions to self-help and psychological literature. Since its inception in 2000, Barsa has provided services to the Iranian community through its various divisions, including publishing, seminars, and educational materials.

Publications

Dr. Mirsadeghi is the author of several books, including "Mt. ?!...shing: A Journey to Reconstructing Life and Its Meaning." This book integrates Eastern values with positive psychology and has sold over 50,000 copies in Iran. It won the Silver Medal in the Nautilus Book Awards 2024. His other works include "Why Don't You Let Your Child Study?" and "Programming with Surveillance Camera," which secured second place globally in the self-help book category. His book "Full Stop, Next Line…" was a finalist in the Youth Issues category of the International Book Awards 2013, and "Planning With CCTV" was a finalist in the International Book Awards 2014.

Notable works and contributions

Dr. Mirsadeghi has worked on the Flourish Theory by Dr. Martin Seligman and holds courses in Iran based on this theory. "Mt. ?!...shing" is an explanation in simple language for this theory. Additionally, he created the motivational TV series "Thirty Days until Victory," the first of its kind globally. He has also been featured as a speaker on Iranian TV shows, including Khandevaneh, Rokh-be-rokh, Asr-e-jadid, Good Morning Iran, Vaghtesheh, and Simay-e-khanevadeh. As an ACT therapist, Dr. Mirsadeghi integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy principles into his teachings and practices.

Dr. Mirsadeghi has also contributed to academic research. His work is published in various academic journals, including the "Asian Finance & Banking Review."
