This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: Borderline notable per WP:GNG. At one time, Wikipedia used to include all association footballers who had made appearances in competitive professional matches, but that presumption is no longer made. At the moment, Gaston remains a youth player with just one brief substitute appearance (giving rise to two reports in local/regional press), but otherwise is only the subject of routine or passing mentions. May be WP:TOOSOON? Suggest the draft be resubmitted once his career has advanced (with more coverage in reliable sources). Paul W (talk) 12:32, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
