He gained prominence in 2016 by garnering attention on the Instagram explore page with his music. Ajey also engaged with fans through meme-like videos, a trend he initiated in 2016. His notable singles, such as Fuck My Ex[1], Selfish, U Never Answer, and Fuck School each amassed over 700,000 views on Spotify alone.

Early life edit
Ajey experienced the foster care system[2] during his early years but was fortunate to be adopted by caring parents who provided him with a stable and supportive environment. Born in New York, he faced challenges in school and dealt with the passing of his aunt and uncle. Subsequently, he relocated to Philadelphia, where he continued to pursue his passion for music.
After his foster mother moved the family to Florida[3], Ajey began recording his initial music compositions, using his experiences as inspiration to record notable tracks like Fuck School, Fuck My Ex, Selfish, Want You Back, U Never Answer, 90s Love, and many more.
Career edit
Ajey initially garnered attention with the release of his song Selfish[4] in 2017, a milestone that opened doors for him to collaborate with prominent artists like "XXXTentacion", "PnB Rock", and "Jim Jones". Notably, these artists are all signed to the same distribution company, EMPIRE. The success of Selfish also attracted the interest of influential individuals in the music industry, including Ghazi.
In 2020, Ajey surprised his audience with an EP titled AjeySzn, featuring the currently popular song U Never Answer. This track made a significant impact on Spotify, amassing 60,000 streams in just one week in Finland, primarily through Spotify Radio—a playlist exclusively curated by Spotify.
Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Ajey is a talented Hip Hop artist whose music seamlessly blends the Contemporary Hip Hop sub genre with the broader Hip Hop genre. His unique approach has earned him admiration from music enthusiasts worldwide. Ajey's distinctive style involves the use of passionate language, varied sentence patterns, and an engaging flow and speed that captivates listeners.
What sets Ajey apart in the hip-hop industry is his innovative use of transitional words, interjections, and colloquialisms, avoiding repetitious phrases and awkward sentence patterns. Overall, his music is a testament to his originality, talent, and unwavering commitment to the art form. His ability to craft a unique sound has resonated with audiences globally, solidifying his position within the vibrant Hip Hop community.
