airfocus is a product management software. Launched in 2018,[1] the platform provides tools for prioritization, roadmapping, objectives and key results, feedback handling, and integration with various project management tools.

airfocus GmbH was founded by Malte Scholz, Valentin Firak and Christian Hoffmeister in 2017 [1] in Hamburg, Germany. Initially, the company aimed to address the challenges faced by teams in prioritizing product work and projects effectively.[2] In the years following the launch of the airfocus software, it evolved to encompass broader strategic planning functionalities.

In November 2019, airfocus GmbH raised €1.7 million in their seed funding round.[3] In June 2021, the company announced a new round of financing in the amount of $5 million. The round was led by XAnge in participation with Nauta Capital.[4] In January 2024, airfocus announced their series A funding round of $7.5 million.[5]

The airfocus software provides a modular suite of tools to help product teams prioritize features, build roadmaps, and incorporate customer feedback throughout the product development lifecycle. Its key features include customizable prioritization frameworks, visual roadmapping capabilities, feedback management tools to capture ideas and requests, collaboration features for cross-functional alignment, and integrations with popular project management and development tools.[6]
