Abu Iman (born 1966) was a soldier in the Iraqi military until the 1991 Uprisings in Iraq in which he defected it[1]. Abu Iman led the rebel forces in the Battle of Basra against the Ba’athist military. On March 6th, Abu Iman was arrested by forces belonging to the Iraqi Republican Guard, along with 50 others.
