Abraham Brody, known as EYIBRA (born 1992 New York, USA) is a Ukrainian-American multidisciplinary artist working with performance, sound, and visual art. He is best known for his works that combine performance with emerging technologies, endurance art, exploring themes of sexuality, homoeroticism, power dynamics, and identity.

Life

Brody was born in New York to a Ukrainian-American family. He studied in Vienna,Austria at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien and later at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England.[1] In his 20's he primarily worked with music and sound design, after branching out to performance and multimedia.[2] His move to performance art and multimedia came about after his 2014 collaboration with artist Marina Abramovic, who served as an inspiration and mentor figure.[3]
