ACES (Advanced Curriculums for Educational Studies) is an international educational organization headquartered in North America, featuring members from over 27[1] countries including the United States, Canada, Mexico, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Peru, and Morocco. Formerly a developer of educational courses in business and programming, ACES is known for developing internationally distributed events focused on university lectures and career advice for students.
The organization's course development ended in 2021, instead transferring to certification programs, newsletters, and online media for students.[2]
Governance Hierarchy edit
ACES, currently headquartered in Toronto, Canada, is governed according to a classic management structure separated according to the scale of operations.
Executive Directors - Executive directors correspond with the top level management of the organization and organize the overall operations for ACES. There are currently two executive directors relevant to the organization. [1]
International Committee - The International Committee for ACES regulates all international activities and foreign expansion for the organization, its services, marketing, and other ventures. [1]
National Committee - The National Committee is responsible for authorizing and initializing organizational activities within borders. Such committees are only present within certain countries and regions where ACES is most prominent (e.g. Canada, US, Taiwan, etc.) [1]
Regional Branches - Regional branches are responsible for the frontline work necessary to facilitate local events, supportive resources, and connect regional students to national and international ventures as directed by their respective committees. These branches may cover a variety of schools and clubs where smaller ACES Chapters are situated. As of 2023, chapters are relatively new additions to the organizational structure of ACES. [1]

ACES creates multiple competitive events on an international level every year, all of which are available to its members. Each competition occurs independently throughout the year, which a general focus around business and finance:
- The International Financial Investing Competition (IFIC) allows students to design a professional investment portfolio spread out across $100,000 USD. [2]
- The International Corporate Consulting Competition (ICCC) is a case study competition where competitors present corporate solutions to problems associated with business and entrepreneurship.
- The International Scientific Research Competition (ISRC) allows students to develop their own scientific research paper typically based on fields within Chemistry and Biology.
Winners of ACES competitions are usually offered a cash prize, scholarship, special organizational privileges, international awards or other distinction. [1]

In 2022, ACES began developing public, online events featuring guest speakers from its partner institutions, including universities, educational companies, and other schools and programs. These events are recorded and distributed to its members, but also features a live audience with limited seating. [1]
In December of 2023, ACES officially released an international community group on various social media platforms previously exclusive to certain qualifying members. The community is currently only open to a select group of countries, most notably including the United States, Mexico, Canada, India. [2]
