Preceded by the 6th Regiment of the Corps d’Afrique in Port Hudson, Louisiana which was involved in Siege of Port Hudson (Port Hudson Union order of battle).[1]

John Sunday Jr. who later settled in Pensacola and became a state legislator a councilman served in it.[2]
