Host selection

edit

The host for the 2025 Gold Cup has yet to be confirmed, although the United States has already been confirmed as at least one of the host nations.[2] Potential other candidates include:

With this edition of the tournament being played just a year prior to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Canada will look to host some of the matches just as they did in the previous edition.

Two Canadian venues will host World Cup matches across two cities in 2026: Toronto, and Vancouver.[3]

With the tournament's defending champions also hosting 13 matches across three cities in the 2026 World Cup, the Gold Cup could prove to be a perfect test run.

Three Mexican venues will host World Cup matches across three cities in 2026: Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey.[4]

CONCACAF have confirmed the United States will host matches at this edition as they are hosting about 78 matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
