On 31 August 2024, a Mil Mi-8T carrying twenty-two people disappeared near the Vachkazhets volcano on the Kamchatka Peninsula.[1] According to Meduza, Russian Football Union financial director Arseniy Zamyatin is among the passengers.[2]
