On 8 July 1993, A Russian air force Il-76 registered as RA-86039 crashed near Pskov Airport after a fire erupted mid-flight on the IL-76 and loss control crashed into the woods, Killing all 11 occupants on board. The plane was flying from Pskov Airport in Pskov, Russia and a return back to Pskov Airport.

Aircraft edit
The Ilyushin IL-76 was built in 1979 by manufacturer Ilyushin and registered as "CCCP-86039". The Soviet Air Forces operated the aircraft untill 1991 after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and was re-registered as RA-86039 and crashed in 1993.
