Don King (defensive back)

Don Erwin King, Jr. (born February 10, 1964) is a former American football defensive back who played in the National Football League (NFL).

Early life

King, Jr. was born on February 10, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, to Don King, Sr. and Judy King.[citation needed] He attended and played quarterback at Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas.[citation needed]

College

King was a four year letterman at Southern Methodist University and a two year starter, where he earned All-Southwest Conference[1] and Honorable Mention All-American Honors as a quarterback.[citation needed]

Professional career

King went undrafted in the 1986 NFL draft, but later signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1986.[citation needed] He then signed with the Green Bay Packers during the 1987 NFL season, where he played in one game against the Detroit Lions.[2][3]
