Early life
editAn was born in 1939 in Uzbekistan. He was described as the "first and only Korean to play in the Premier League of the former Soviet Union".[1]
Career
editAn started his career with Uzbekistani side Pakhtakor. In 1964, he signed for Uzbekistani side Dustlik.
Style of play
editAn mainly operated as a striker. He was known for his heading ability.[2]
Personal life
editAn was of South Korean descent. He was the brother of Soviet Union international Mikhail An.[3]
