Central District (Ramhormoz County)

The Central District of Ramhormoz County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان رامهرمز) is in Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Ramhormoz.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 97,561 in 20,648 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 104,882 people in 25,241 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 95,582 inhabitants in 25,710 households,[2] by which time Abolfares Rural District had been separated from the district in the establishment of Abolfares District,[6] and Soltanabad Rural District to establish Soltanabad District.[7]
