Central District (Nowshahr County)

The Central District of Nowshahr County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان نوشهر) is in Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Nowshahr.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 102,131 in 27,814 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 108,976 people in 32,279 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 118,015 inhabitants in 38,431 households.[2]
