The Central District of Gachsaran County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان گچساران) is in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Dogonbadan.[3]

editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 109,458 in 24,242 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 118,022 people in 30,136 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 123,370 inhabitants in 34,089 households.[2]
