Subcat of itself? edit

I'm just curious... is there a way to display the user template on this page without making it a subcategory of itself? --Allen 03:49, 2 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

subst it and then remove the category from the subst'd text. This does of course mean that it will not be in sync with any changes to the template. --TheParanoidOne 05:03, 2 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorting edit

This is a sorting project and the names on the enrollment page weren'tsorted in any way! That's disgusting. Good news is, I'm doing it now. Please don't help, I like doing work alone for the most part. —¡Randfan! 18:23, 1 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

List on a category edit

Having a list of contributors on a category page is quite odd, as the category already contains many of the entries. Normally a list of participants would be placed at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Stub_sorting/Participants. Having the list in category space results in this page turning up in searches, such as special:search/category:Willoughby. Does anyone object to this page being moved to project space. It's inappropriate use of a category page. A manually-entered list of a WikiProject's members should be in Project space (a.k.a. Wikipedia: space). --Redrose64 (talk) 13:59, 6 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
