Category talk:Types of horse

Delete category

Most articles in this category more properly belong in Category:Horse breeds; others are candidates for Category:Horse biology and Category:Working horses. I propose to delete this category. --Una Smith (talk) 14:02, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

I disaghdfsfgsfdgsree, they are not "breeds" per se, but rather groups of related body types, etc. Also covers things like pit pony and animals for various uses that may not necessarily be used for that purpose today. I am not opposed to a better category name, or more categories, but there are a lot of horses that don't really fit into either a "job" or a "breed." And what DO we do with articles like gelding, etc...? I suggest we not delete this category until we have consensus on something better. Montanabw^(talk) 23:01, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Rename proposal
