Shouldn't this be an article?
editThis is great work! But, it seems a little large for a Category page... Shouldn't this be moved to the article space(say, under Southern California freeways) and change the description to point to the new article? Oh main author, let me know what you think... JesseW 03:01, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Just went ahead and did it myself. :) Bryan 08:41, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Why is Pomona Freeway listed under 'S'?
editIs it just me, or is Pomona Freeway at the bottom of the page (listong of articles in the category) listed under S? --AlexTheMartian 10:08, Nov 11, 2004 (UTC)
- "do do do do" - attempt at spooky theme music. It's not just you. I don't know why, though. It doesn't have a sort key, and I've purged the catagory cache, so that shouldn't be it. Misc Cat bug #lots more, I guess. JesseW
- yes! its fixed.. did it fix itself or did someone find the reason? --AlexTheMartian 05:55, Nov 17, 2004 (UTC)
- aha! it is because the Pomona Freeway article had Category:Southern California freeways as the category and not Category:Southern California freeways|Pomona Freeway .. note that Southern California freeways starts with an S and Choster fixed that ;-) --AlexTheMartian 08:28, Nov 17, 2004 (UTC)
- No, it stil doesn't make sense. Articles are catagorized under their title if there is no sort key. I'm glad it's fixed, but that doesn't explain it. JesseW 09:09, 17 Nov 2004 (UTC)

"The"
editIt might be worth mentioning that the definite article is peculiar to Southern California, (at least, in CA). In fact, whether one uses the word "the" in CA to refer to freeways is often used as a litmus test for how "native" you have gone as a NoCal transplant.
- Yes, this sounds like a good point. Someone add it. JesseW 08:43, 12 Nov 2004 (UTC)
