Is this needed?

Is there any real encyclopedic value in a category to link two different cities in two different countries which merely happen to share the same name? And again, I repeat: "metropolitan area" has a specific definition which this particular conurbation does not meet. It's not a term that you can apply to any collection of municipalities that you choose; it can only be applied to a collection of municipalities that has a total population of at least 100,000.
