It looks as if having more than one subcategory would be useful, there are currently 266 articles indexed directly under Category:Road accident victims. Anyone have any suggestions? How would it be if we used time periods? Road accident victims before 1940, Road accident victims 1940-1959, Road accident victims 1960-1969, Road accident victims 1970-1979, Road accident victims 1980-1984, Road accident victims 1985-1989, Road accident victims 1990-1994, Road accident victims 1995-1999, etc. That should give us about 20 or so victims per subcategory. Another possible breakdown is by general occupation. Or is this not really a useful category, so it doesn't matter? Bejnar 02:24, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Under the French category, the article for Diana of Wales is in there. I read it to be the nationality of the victim, not the country of death. Any other thoughts/comments on this? Lugnuts 15:00, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

They should be (as some are) in categories "Road accident deaths in Fooland" ie the country of death not their nationality (cf Diana above) and in category ""1941 road accidents" which may need to be created for some years (as a subcategory of Transportation etc), see Category:1941 road accidents.
