It seems to me that it's logical to make "Periodic table" a subcategory of "Chemical elements" rather than the reverse, as it is now. The more general concept is clearly that of "Chemical elements". I am reluctant to do it myself, because a person more familiar with chemistry should do any necessary rearranging of subcategories and articles. Any takers?

How many elements are there? edit

There are 118 elements currently on the periodic table. Several elements have only been found in laboratories and nuclear accelerators. So, you may wonder how many elements can be found naturally.
