Nationality vs Heritage edit

Why are non-japanese players added to this category?

A japanese hockey player is a person of japanese nationality who is playing hockey. It's not a canadian/american/botswanian person with japanese heritage playing hockey.

Eric Lindros isn't swedish player, Paul Kariya isn't a japanese player. Hdw 13:09, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

If we only include people from Japan, this category will probably stay at 1 person for a long time (and most likely deleted). Which is fine for me. Besides, if it's just Japanese descent there's a lot of people who aren't included right now. ColourBurst 03:24, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
