Shouldnt Chance Bros be listed on this page for their work on radar tubes which helped win the war. I would concider this importent as UK goverment would not let my Grandfather join army, they concidered his work (in management of some kind) at chances more importent (grandfather John.F.Cheetham moved to birmingham 1930 was in management at Chance Bros then Pilkington Chance...he was listed in the "who's who" at one point) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.5.251.131 (talk) 12:49, 15 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not being listed here does not mean the company was not important to the UK's war efforts. It means the company is not highly important within the Glass project. Chance Brothers is rated of mid-importance to the glass project. This means the article (not the company) "fills in more minor details" about glass. In other words, the company may have been very important in various contexts. However, in terms of the general field of glass, there are far more significant articles (Pyrex, History of glass, etc.). - SummerPhD (talk) 15:42, 15 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
