So if this category is talking about rock climbing, why is it called "climbing". there are other things to climb and ways to climb them. --John.james 02:13, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Are you sure your comment is on the right page, this category is for knots used in climbing. Which has a tendency to favor those used to climb rocks, trees and other highly vertical objects due to most other forms not necessitating equipment to aid in climb. Possibly you meant the category climbing but it does cover more things than rock climbing, though rock climbing does account for a large section of development in the subject.
