Category:Cycling equipment is an attempt to reduce the clutter of the top category, Category:Cycling, after structures like Category:Golf equipment and Category:Climbing equipment. This is to take things like shorts, gloves, jersey, trainer out of the top category. According to Wikipedia:Categorization, categories should be in the most specific possible, and an article or category should not have a parent category that is also a grandparent category. --Christopherlin 21:58, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
