Why is this spelled this way? It's not typically American style, which spells "theatre" as "theater". This seems especially confusing for a category.--Parkwells (talk) 19:37, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Because the convention is to use "theatre" when referring to the art, whether British or American. We use "theater" to refer to an American building, and "theatre" to refer to a British building. — MusicMaker5376 20:00, 9 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
