Alt-lite category

edit

Is it possible if there is an alt-lite category?

Many people believe that the "alt-right" is actually two different (and usually conflicting) factions.

The alt-lite/new right, which is more libertarian in nature, advocates in capitalism and civic nationalism. Some figures in the alt-lite, such as Paul Joseph Watson and Gavin McInnes, also try to distance themselves from the alt-right as much as possible, especially after Charlottesville. Examples of alt-lite figures include Mike Cernovich, Paul Joseph Watson, Gavin McInnes, and Milo Yiannopolous.

The alt-right, on the other hand, is more authoritarian in nature and advocates in anti-Semitism, third position economics, and ethnic nationalism. Examples of alt-right figures include Jared Taylor (even though he is not anti-Semitic), Vox Day, Richard Spencer, and Andrew Anglin.

Alt-right vs far-right

Can someone tell me, what is difference between alt-right and far-right? 178.43.74.124 (talk) 17:09, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

The alt-right exists within the far-right. Alt-right isn't a position on the political spectrum, it's a loose grouping of far-right activists. Docktuh (talk) 04:56, 16 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
