As a newbie, I find this page completely confusing. The instruction:

This is a collection of all currently unclosed AfD debates relating to organisations, companies, and products. To include a debate in this category, add the following line directly below the subject header:

is totally unclear. Am I to copy & paste the exact text "{{REMOVE THIS TEMPLATE WHEN CLOSING THIS AfD|O}}"? Where am I to copy it to? Which "subject header"? On which page?

You can add the line anywhere on an AfD page (preferably just below the header, which starts and ends with == characters); an AfD page starts Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/. This is automatically added if a category of 'O' is specified when creating the AfD in the first place. --ais523 16:57, 2 November 2007 (U T C)

I am also a relative newbie to debates, and I got here because someone asked to debate the notability an AfD page. But I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Do I 'talk' on the debate page?
