This article may meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion because in its current form it serves only to promote or publicise an entity, person, product, or idea, and would require a fundamental rewrite in order to become encyclopedic. However, the mere fact that a company, organization, or product is a page's subject does not, on its own, qualify that page for deletion under this criterion. This criterion also does not apply where substantial encyclopedic content would remain after removing the promotional material as deletion is not cleanup; in this case please remove the promotional material yourself, or add the {{advert}} tag to alert others to do so. See CSD G11.

Brownstones Coffee is a breakfast and lunch chain restaurant located on Long Island, New York, United States.
History
editBrownstones Coffee was founded in 2002 by Manny Kourounis in Amityville, New York.[1] Brownstones now has five locations and aims to stay mom and pop-ish with its 1920s influenced decorations.[2] Kourounis runs the establishment with the help of his son Christopher[3] as well as business partners John Mangino and Christina Walberg,[4] the latter who serves as director of franchising.[3] Originally from Brooklyn, Manny Kourounis got the name for the restaurant from the popular Brooklyn brownstones. In turn, he wanted to give the building's architecture and overall vibe a similar feel.[2] Brownstones started originally as a coffee shop then entered the restaurant scene eight years later with small food items.[4] In 2015, there was a fire at their Amityville location which prompted the opening of their locations in East Northport and East Islip. Since then, the Amityville location has been successfully reopened.[4]
Description
editThe Brownstones menu has expanded from serving only coffee and small bakery items to featuring an assortment of unique breakfast and lunch items. Some of these include French Toast Bites, Avocado BLT Benedict, and Everything Seed Bacon Sriracha Avocado Toast.[4] The menu also includes items such as omelettes,[3] specialty lattes, French toast,[3] pancakes, waffles, paninis, and salads.[2] Some of these specialty lattes include a caramel macchiato, white chocolate mocha, or cinnamon dolce latte. Some locations offer “boozy brunch” as well with various mimosa flavors or bloody mary's.[citation needed]
Customers and the surrounding community say the restaurant has a very local feel where you can enjoy yourself in a comfortable homelike environment.[4] Bethpage Federal Credit Union awarded Brownstones Coffee with the “Best French Toast” on Long Island in 2021 and 2023[2] and it was ranked in Best Things New York’s article as one of the Top 10 Places for Pancakes in New York. [citation needed] Also, the West Islip location is scheduled to move from 306 Union Boulevard to a new construction building at 425 Union Boulevard just down the street.[5]
Locations
editThe restaurant has locations in Amityville, West Islip,[3] Centereach, East Northport[3] and Sayville, New York, the latter of which opened in April 2023.[2]
