Boyer is an unincorporated community in Crawford County, in the U.S. state of Iowa.[1]

History
editBoyer was laid out in 1889.[2] The community took its name from the Boyer River.[2] Boyer's population was 60 in 1902,[3] and 80 in 1925.[4]
A post office called Boyer was established in 1899, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1967.[5]
The population was 70 in 1940.[6]
