Bodycam is a 2024 multiplayer tactical shooter video game being developed by indie company Reissad Studio.[1] The game was released as an early access title on June 7, 2024.[2] It has been attributed to having realistic gameplay.[2][3][4][5] The game's graphics and environments have been compared to that of Unrecord,[5][6] and it uses several of its ideas and graphical assets.[1][6]
Gameplay
editBodycam is a tactical shooter which is played from a first-person perspective. It features three game modes: Body Bomb, Team Deathmatch, and Deathmatch.[7]
Development
editBodycam was developed using Unreal Engine 5 by two people aged 17 and 20 years.[8]
Reception
editBodycam received mixed reviews upon early access release, but reviews have improved over its first week. It currently holds a 72% "Mostly Positive" approval rating from Steam user reviews.
Bodycam has been praised for its realistic graphics and gameplay.[9][10] It has been criticized for its lack of content as well as for having server connection issues.[6]
