Bob Ringwood (born 25 November 1946) is a retired British costume designer. He is perhaps best known for creating the stillsuits in David Lynch's science fiction film Dune (1984) and supervising the fabrication of the batsuit in Tim Burton's superhero film Batman (1989).[1][2] Ringwood has been nominated twice, for Empire of the Sun (1987) and Troy (2004), for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design.
