Biography

edit

Benny Peretz is the son of Avraham Peretz, one of the controlling owners of the real estate company "Peretz Bonei Hativon". Other family members are also involved in real estate.

Peretz managed "Bonei Hativon Projects", the execution branch of "Bonei Hativon", which was established in early 2007.

In 2011, Peretz helped Eyal Golan deal with tax evasion charges.[3] At the end of the process, Golan was sentenced to community service. After this joint effort, Benny Peretz remained in contact with Golan and became his personal manager.

In 2012, together with Eyal Golan, Peretz co-founded a real estate company named "Liam Shi", named after the sons of both partners. This company is part of "Liam Productions", which manages Eyal Golan's music business.

In October 2017, Peretz and Golan's real estate company planned to build seven residential buildings in Petah Tikva, but the deal fell through due to a dispute with another partner.[4]

In June 2019, business disagreements arose between Peretz and Golan, but Ophira Assayag mediated a reconciliation between them.[5] In November 2019, they divided their jointly owned real estate assets, which were valued at over 100 million shekels.[6]

Benny Peretz was suspected and investigated on charges of sexual relations with minors as part of the "Games of Society" scandal, but a gag order was placed on his involvement in the case. In November 2019, the gag order was lifted.[2]

During his career, Peretz was also the musical manager of Nasrin Kadri and Itay Levy.[7][8]
