Anthony Francis Pinto (Chinese: 杜俊暉; born 23 February 2006) is a Hong Kong professional footballer who currently plays as a right back or a right winger for Bolton Wanderers U18 and the Hong Kong national team.

Club career

editBorn in Hong Kong[1] to a Portuguese father and a Hong Kong mother, Pinto came from the youth system of Hong Kong club Happy Valley.[2]
Bolton Wanderers U18
editPinto joined English club Bolton Wanderers U18 in 2021. He has played in the FA Youth Cup.
International career

editIn December 2023, Pinto was selected into the 29-man training squad of Hong Kong U18.[3]
Senior
editOn 1 June 2024, Pinto was selected into the 23-man final squad of Hong Kong for the first time.[4] On 6 June 2024, Pinto made his international debut for Hong Kong in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Iran. He scored in the 59th minute to make the score 2–3. However, the game ended with Iran's 4–2 victory.[5]
