Anthony Furey is a Canadian journalist and political commentator, who ran unsuccessfully for Mayor of Toronto in the 2023 Toronto mayoral by-election, placing fourth behind Olivia Chow with 4.95% of the vote,[1] and then again for city councillor in a 2024 Don Valley West municipal by-election on November 4, 2024, losing to Rachel Chernos Lin.[2] He is a conservative columnist and commentator and an executive with the right-wing True North Centre for Public Policy.[3]
