Anne van de Wiel (pronounced [ˈɑnə vɑn də ˈʋil]; born 4 June 1997) is a Dutch multi-event athlete. She won Dutch heptathlon national titles in 2019 and 2020.[1]

Early and personal life
editFrom Breda, her twin sister Myke is also an athlete. She studied sociology at Erasmus University.[2] Both sisters later moved to train in Rotterdam.[3]
Career
editShe won the silver medal in the heptathlon at the Dutch Athletics Championships in Utrecht in 2017.[4] She won the heptathlon at the 2019 Dutch Athletics Championships in Den Haag with a total of 5712 points.[5][6] She won bronze at the NK Indoor Meerkamp in the heptathlon in 2020, and also participated in two individual events during the Dutch Championship in Apeldoorn in February 2020. In the 200 meters, she finished fourth and eighth in the long jump.[7] She won the Dutch title in the heptathlon again in September 2020 in Emmeloord, with a score of 5756 points.[8]
She travelled as part of the Dutch relay team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics,[9] but did not compete.[10] She finished third in the 400 metres at the Dutch Championships in Apeldoorn in June 2022.[11] In July 2023, she was runner up at the Dutch Championships in Breda in the 400 m hurdles.[12]
She competed as part of the Dutch 4 × 400 m relay team at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome.[13]
