editFrank Panabaker is known for many successful sports teams including baseball, track and field, cross country, soccer, basketball, floorball, volleyball, golf, water polo, swimming, flag football, and ice hockey team.[2]

History
editThe school is named after Canadian landscape artist and Ancaster resident, Frank Panabaker.[3] The elementary school re-opened as Frank Panabaker Elementary School in September 2019, after combining it's predecessors; Ancaster Senior Public School (ASPS), and Fessenden Elementary School. The south campus occupies the former Ancaster Senior Public School building, and the north campus occupies the former Fessenden Elementary School.[4] Frank Panabaker is considered a feeder school for Ancaster High School.
Ancaster Senior Public School was founded in 1968[5] teaching grades 7-8. Fesseden Elementary School was founded in 1959 which taught grades JK-6.
