Allie Thornton is an American professional soccer player from Arlington, Texas, who currently plays as a forward for the Dallas Trinity FC in the USL Super League.

College career
editIn 2016, Allie joined the SMU Mustangs. In total, Thorton appeared 79 times for the SMU Mustangs over 4 years, registering 37 goals in the process.[1]
Professional career
editAfter college, Allie joined the French club Le Havre in 2020. She was able to join the team without requiring a work visa due to obtaining a French passport through her father. Allie played for Le Havre for one season before transferring to Issy, in 2021.
After 2 years in the French league, Allie went to Belgium playing for two seasons with Anderlecht.[2] She would help Anderlect achieve back to back league championships.[3]
In June 2024, Allie agreed to join Dallas Trinity FC for their inaugural season in the USL Super League as their 4th signee overall. College teammate, Sam Estrada, would join a few days later.[4]
