Alexis Bloom is a South African documentary film director and producer. Her works include Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds (2016) and Divide and Conquer: The Story of Roger Ailes (2018). She has been nominated for three Emmy Awards.

Biography
editBloom was born in Johannesburg.[1] Her father is Jewish.[2] She graduated from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism in 2001,[3][4] and began her career editing for Frontline.[5]
She married Fisher Stevens in 2017.[6] They have two children.[7]
