Academics edit
Alexandria Technical and Community College offers nearly 50 academic programs including certificates, diplomas, Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science degrees. Several Associate of Arts degrees and transfer pathways are also offered.

The college athletic teams known as the Legends compete in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference[2] and are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association.[3]

Alexandria Technical and Community College has two student housing units adjacent to campus,[4] operated by the Alexandria Technical and Community College Foundation. Foundation Hall, which opened in 2011, has 149 beds in a mix of 2- and 4-bedroom apartment-style units. J.A. Wedum Foundation Hall, opening fall 2024, has 150 beds in a mix of 1- and 2-bedroom apartment-style units.
