Alex Brewer (politician)

Alex Brewer is a British Liberal Democrat politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for North East Hampshire since 2024.[2]

Career

Brewer runs a local children's charity in North East Hampshire, and formerly ran a women's refuge, as well as working in the business sector in the UK, Japan, Germany and Australia.[3][4]

Parliamentary career

Brewer was elected as the Member of Parliament for North East Hampshire at the 2024 general election, defeating incumbent Ranil Jayawardena with 38.1% of the vote and a majority of 634, becoming the first Liberal Democrat to represent the constituency.[1]
