Personal life

edit

Aaron Manuel Ross was born in Grass Valley, C.A on May 30, 1980. He was raised there and continues to reside in the same area.

Ross was home-schooled along along with his siblings. Encouraged by their musically inclined parents, Ross mentioned that they often sang together at home. Ross began writing and performing music at the age of 14.[1] Before his music career took off, he worked as a butcher at the SPD Market in Nevada City for two years.[1] Ross left his job as a butcher when the Sacramento-based math rock band, Hella, invited him to join as their singer in 2006.[1]

He is self-taught and has been making art in some form or another since he was still in kindergarten.[2] He has been writing and recording music for more than twenty years.[3]
