The 2024 United States Senate election in Mississippi will be held on November 5, 2024, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the state of Mississippi . Incumbent Senator Roger Wicker took office on December 31, 2007, to replace fellow Republican Trent Lott , who resigned 13 days earlier. Wicker retained his Senate seat in the 2008 special election , won full terms in 2012 and 2018 , and is running for a third full term. Primary elections took place on March 12, 2024.
