  1. ^ Benfica will be promoted to the Champions League league phase if Bayer Leverkusen wins the Europa League or fellow finalists Atalanta finish top four of the Serie A. As per UEFA regulations, should the title holders of the Europa League qualify directly for the Champions League league phase via their standard berth allocation (prior to additional berths awarded to the two highest-ranked associations), then the team with the highest coefficient out of all the teams in the Champions League qualifying enter directly to the league stage, which is Benfica.
  2. ^ The 2023–24 Taça de Portugal winners (Porto or Sporting CP) qualify for the Europa League league phase (or the third-placed team if the Taça de Portugal winners finish in the top two).
