A statue of Meitei king Meidingu Nara Singh (1844-1850 A.D.) in front of the Kangla Sanathong, the Western Entrance to the Kangla Fort, was inaugurated by the Government of Manipur in 2022.
Classical Manipuri dancer Savita's collection of 8mm films (‘home movies’) of her dance performances was made a rare additional part of the National Film Archive of India (NFAI) in February 2022.[1]
