2021 Rockford mayoral election

The 2021 Rockford mayoral election was held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, to elect the mayor of Rockford, Illinois. Incumbent mayor Tom McNamara won re-election to a second term. McNamara first won election in 2017 with 68.3% of the vote.[1]

McNamara ran in an uncontested primary on February 23, 2021, thus automatically winning the Democratic nomination.[2] He then won 100% of the vote in the general election as he was the only candidate on the ballot.[3]
