The 2014 South American Basketball Championship for Women was the 34th edition of the tournament. Eight teams participated in the competition, held in Ambato, Ecuador, from 14 to 18 August 2014.[1] Brazil won the tournament, their fifteenth consecutive title and 25th overall.[2]
