1989 Danish speedway season

The 1989 Danish speedway season was the 1989 season of motorcycle speedway in Denmark.[1]

Six riders from the Danish final would progress to the Nordic Final as part of the 1989 Individual Speedway World Championship. The final was held on 19 May at Vojens and was won by Erik Gundersen.[2][3]

The 1989 Danish Individual Speedway Championship was the 1989 edition of the Danish Individual Speedway Championship.[4] The final was held at Slangerup on 2 August. The title was won by Erik Gundersen for the fifth time.[5][6]

Johnny Jørgensen won the Junior Championship.[7][8]

The 1989 Superliga was won by Fredericia for the 5th time. The team included Jan O. Pedersen, Gert Handberg, Brian Karger and Frede Schött.[9][10][11] The same eight teams as in 1988 competed in the Superliga.
